An Agent connectivity alert is triggered when WattMetrics has not received any communications from an Agent for a set period of time. The default is 60 minutes but can be changed to up to 360 minutes.
Local Network Quality
Many local networks have quality issues that can affect Agent communications. Poorly performing networks can cause some projects to trigger the Agent communications alert and send "agent offline" messages fairly frequently. In those cases, WattMetrics recommends increasing the 'offline timeout' for the alert to reduce the false positives.
